I hope that you find our website useful and that it gives you an insight into our school, our caring ethos, our high expectations and the wide range of experiences and opportunities we offer.

Wellbeing is at the heart of our approach. We promote the social, emotional and spiritual well-being of our children to ensure that each and every child has the opportunity to flourish in a safe, happy, supportive and encouraging environment. Every child is equally important and equally valued. Happy children always learn best! We have the highest expectations of and for our children. Great importance is placed on developing thinking skills, positive mind-set and resilience. Effort is celebrated and rewarded and we pride ourselves on the high standards achieved by our children, and the outstanding progress that all Rofft children make. We think of ourselves as one big family of families at The Rofft, where school is a partnership between home, school and the community. We encourage sharing, caring, respect and responsibility.

 

Our vision was co-constructed with staff, learners, parents and carers, governors and local businesses. I’m proud to share this with you below, together with the graphic which displays the values and behaviours we all seek to encourage in our children.
